It is an honour to have the opportunity to open Luminous Health Solutions.
After living with chronic pain and other health problems for many years, I truly understand the impact this can have on one’s personal, work, and family life. It can affect us, and our loved ones, physically, emotionally and financially. I am also aware of the emotional toll chronic illness takes and how frustrating it is to be undiagnosed and told "it is all in your head", or to be told "you will just have to learn to live with it", or to be given yet another bottle of pills to try to deal with the side effects of the first prescriptions.
After my MS diagnosis, I began a long journey seeking relief from alternative and holistic health providers.  I am very grateful for the many different therapies offered and the great care and understanding from the care providers I had the privilege of meeting along the way. 
My life really took a positive turn however, after I was introduced to Photobiomodulation (PBM) light therapy while attending a Neurovascular health conference in 2018.  After trying THOR PBM light therapy for my chronic pain and fatigue, I was amazed to find dramatic relief after only four sessions. After a few more treatments, my pain had completely subsided after 15 years of chronic pain!  I also regained some mobility but most importantly, I “got my life back”. I was able to stop all pain medications, I had energy again, and a renewed sense of hope and purpose in my life.

The more I learned about PBM light therapy, the more passionate I became about wanting to make it available in our community.  And so, I teamed up with PBM Practioner, Paul Rothwell to create Luminous Health Solutions!

PBM has been phrased “the Future of Medicine” and we are thrilled to be part of this revolutionary healing modality and to share it with you! It is also a perfect complement to other treatments whether they are traditional western medicine or holistic/ alternative methods.

Heather and I are very fortunate to realize the opportunity to help so many people benefit from Photobiomodulation Therapy (PBM). Heather’s experience, which she shared in her story, was the catalyst for us to pioneer this amazing healing technology in Greater Vancouver.

We were in a transitional period with careers and the timing could not have been better for us to have discovered PBM - it feels as though it was meant to be. Health and fitness have always been a big part of my life. I worked as a personal trainer for many years, and worked alongside practitioners in complimentary medicine for fourteen years while running my own business.

Becoming a PBM Practitioner has been very rewarding as we continue to meet many wonderful people and help them get their lives back, free from pain.

Shortly after we began Luminous, I personally experienced the healing effects of LED / Laser light after I suffered a serious injury to my hand with all four fingers badly lacerated and one fractured. I applied our THOR hand-held device to my hand daily and was amazed at how quickly I healed without scarring and had no need for pain medication.

It has been my passion and within my nature to help people. What better way than with this revolutionary technology, which has been referred to as The Future of Medicine. We certainly believe it is!

It is with luck and grace that I was introduced to Heather and Paul from Luminous Health Solutions. We quickly realized that our background knowledge and our service offerings, both PEMF and PBM, were a perfect fit for collaboration. I am so excited to be a part of this team and cannot wait to heal the world, one person at a time.

My background is in personal training and I am certified in training people for functional movement, weight loss, manual therapy and nutrition. Through training different people throughout the years, I noticed that no matter who you were, fit or unfit, you could still get injured or overtrain. When I discovered the PEMF technology, this was a big game changer in the way my body recovered and healed after a heavy training session. Recovery time was shortened significantly and my performance was enhanced. As a holistic nutritionist and movement teacher, I am fascinated with the human body’s incredible capacity to heal. I started teaching yoga in 2010 and continue to study different modalities of movement, meditation and healing practices. Personal health struggles with my gut and liver reignited my focus on nutrition, leading me to Vancouver where I completed the Natural Nutrition program at CSNN in 2019. 

 Philosophy 
I focus on supporting our vital core from the inside - Our Gut and Our Liver. By reducing inflammation and improving our body's detox function, health and vitality are within reach.
